Created within the principles of Emotional Realism Expressionism (ERE), Buried Presence explores the fragile boundary between memory, identity and absence.
A partially revealed human figure emerges through layers of texture, gesture and atmosphere, existing between appearance and disappearance. The image does not seek to describe a person, but to evoke the persistence of human presence beneath the surface of memory and experience.
In this work, realism provides the recognizable human form, emotion provides the psychological depth, and expressionism provides the visual language through which the invisible becomes visible. Layered surfaces, atmospheric space and controlled abstraction work together to create an image that is both seen and felt.
Buried Presence is an exploration of what remains hidden, yet continues to exist.
